My friend is a Saturation diver, he explained to me about his job and it seems interesting.

I wonder if the salary is as interesting as the job. Does anyone have any idea how much they make generally?

Commercial divers say the average salary for underwater welders is about $54,340 a year or $24.26 an hour. Most workers make between $25,000 and $80,000. The top 10% can make around $88,640, while the bottom 10% earn about $30,320. For entry-level saturation divers, salaries usually fall between $50,000 and $80,000 each year. As divers gain experience and pick up skills like underwater welding or non-destructive testing, their pay can go up a lot. More experienced divers typically earn between $90,000 and $150,000 annually, and those with over ten years in the field can make well over $150,000 a year.
