Ok... It's been months that I've been thinking about kicking off a side hustle doing light salvage and recovery dives here in Minnesota, mostly pulling vehicles and small objects from lakes. I'm a little worried about what kind of certifications and insurance I need if it's just a part-time thing. Would county coverage apply if I helped with public work, or do I have to get full commercial diving credentials? Any tips on staying legal without going overboard?
