I've got an Ocean Reef space exxtender and was wondering if there are any HydroOptix frames would fit inside? the Ocean Reef ones are expensive, and I saw the Hydros are much cheaper. thanks!

the eternal quest to make pricey gear just a little more affordable, totally get it.HydroOptix frames are tempting, but the space extender is not really into mingling outside the ocean reef family, the built in grooves and attachment systems are picky like that and even if you do manage to wedge them in, chances are they'll either fog up like a sauna or shift around mid dive and give you an impromptu magic show. Probably safer to hunt down a used ocean reef frame or wait for a sale

The Ocean Reef Space extender doesn't fit directly with HydroOptix frames. You'll need the Ocean Reef Optical lens support 2.0 for that. This support works with the Space extender and allows you to add standard prescription lenses, making it a cheaper and more flexible option than getting HydroOptix frames

Nahh, wont fit, the mounting systems are totally different and Hydrooptix was designed for a separate style of mask and doesn't use the clip in setup Ocean Reef uses, ready to save some cash, you might be able to DIY something with a universal optical insert, but it won't be easy, I dont think I should recommend that anyway, maybe keep an eye out for a used set of the proper OR frames
